Nii Adjei sticks up coach Fabin
Asante Kotoko captain Daniel Nii Adjei has jumped to the defence of under-fire coach Paa Kwesi Fabin following the team's recent downward spiral.
Fans of the Porcupine Warriors have questioned the coach's rotational policy which has not yielded any positive results.
Fabin has been widely condemned for his alleged confrontation with a fan in Kumasi.
But the midfielder believes the former Heart of Lions boss deserves some respite.
"You can't solely blame the coach for the current happenings in the team," Adjei said
"He came to meet over 40 players and so naturally he will want to try eevrybody and find who will fit into his team.
"I disagree with people who think he is not good enough for Asante Kotoko. He is a fine coach with a lot of qualities and hopefully he will find his first eleven as he has been saying all along."
Kotoko need a win against Real Tamale United at the Tamale Stadium this afternoon to improve their accumulated points.
