ACP expresses worry about Siren disregard

The Commander of the MTTU, ACP Daniel Avorgah has expressed worry about the disregard and his disrespect for sirens on the road. He said most drivers ignore the sound to the detriment of the officials involved.

Speaking to Radio Ghana on the accident involving the Speaker of Parliament he said the incident was unfortunate but was quick to add that it is mandatory for all to appreciate the sound of sirens and police motor riders.

On the use of mobile phones while driving, ACP Avorgah disclosed that a new law is to be passed to ban the practice.

As the Christmas season approaches, ACP Avorgah assured Ghanaians that adequate measures are in place to control the heavy traffic situation on the roads.
