Security Alert - Watch, Don't Fall Victim
A man offered his services as a painter to a lady who was buying petrol at a filling station and gave her his 'complimentary card'. She said 'No', but after some persuasion, she accepted his card out of kindness and got in her car.
The man then got into a car driven by another person. As the lady left the service station, she saw the men following her out of the station at the same time. After driving a short distance, she started feeling dizzy and could not catch her breath. She tried to open the window and realised that her hand had a sweet smelling scent.
This was the same hand she used to collect the card from the unknown man at the filling station. She then noticed the men were trailing her. Their car was closely behind her and she knew she had to do something at that moment.
She drove into the first turning on her right and it was a busy road. She began to honk her horn repeatedly and started shouting for help. She stopped her car and continued blowing the horn and within a few minutes, a crowd surrounded her car. On seeing the situation, the men drove away, but the lady still felt bad for several minutes.
She was able to tell the crowd her husband's cellphone number and somebody in the crowd called him. He arrived at the scene and took her to a hospital for treatment.
She was discharged after 48 hours. What happened? Apparently, there was a substance on the card that could have seriously injured her.
This drug (name withheld), is used by criminals who wish to incapacitate victims in order to steal, kill or take advantage of them.
This drug is four times more dangerous than the date rape drug and can be transferred onto simple cards and papers. Take heed and make sure you don't accept cards at any time (when you are alone) from strangers — in the streets, markets, filling stations, etc.
This applies to those making house calls and giving you a card when they offer their services. Don't be caught unawares. Be vigilant, be prayerful — tell God to sharpen your instincts.
Be bold and say NO when you are not convinced. Don't be emotional when dealing with strangers. Don't be ashamed to scream and shout on top of your voice when you are in danger.
