Be Strong In Faith

By Pastor William Finney Blay of Life Assemblies
Be Strong In Faith

And being not weak in faith, be considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred. years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what be had promised, be was able also to perform (Romans 4:19-21).

The Bible says about Abraham the father of faith that He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Against hope he believed in hope that he was going to become the father of many nations. Abraham exhibited strong faith. That's the faith that works.

Strong faith never gives up. When you discover what God's Word says about you and you lay hold of it, refusing to doubt or stagger at the promise of God, you're exhibiting strong faith. For example, having discovered from the Word that divine health and prosperity are yours in Christ Jesus, you begin to declare "I'm rich, healthy and strong! My God supplies my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus! His desire that I prosper and be in health is fulfilled ill my life!"

While you're yet talking like that, the devil may bring you a picture of your unpaid bills, refuse to give up your confession! Keep declaring "the Lord is my shepherd therefore I do not lack money. Against hope I believe in hope that my needs are met and my bills are paid." That's strong faith, the faith that wins. Strong faith maintains the confession in the face of staggering oppositions.

When your faith is strong, it's impossible for you to cower or bow down under any pressure. Even when sickness tries to fasten itself to your body, you'll say "No, I refuse to be sick; no infirmity can stay in my body!" The pain may even get more intense as you're speaking God's Word, but you say "Devil you're a liar; the life of God is in me, therefore I refuse to be sick!" That's strong faith!

Strong faith is when you refuse to submit yourself to sickness, disease, sin, death and everything else that's contrary to the provisions of the gospel. (I already taught this subject in more details in my book "How To Make Your Faith Work," you can order for a copy).

Prayer
Father thank You for my faith in you is the victory that has overcome the world! As I take my uncompromising stand on your Word I know that my progress and profiting will be visible to all in Jesus Name.
