River Oti floods Zabzugu/Tatale District
Zabzugu/Tatale District of the Northern Region has been cut off from parts of the Region and the country due to flooding caused by River Oti. Reports say the River Oti Bridge has now become an Island because all the streams along the river have covered Tatale/Zabzugu to Yendi road and no vehicle can cross the river to Yendi.
All economic activities have also come to a halt. The houses of Bators of Sabare number two have submerged and the people are now living with their friends at Sabare number one. The fishermen now use their Canoes to carry travellers at a fare of GHC2 per passenger to cross the two flooded streams on the road.
