The Daily Graphic comments on law and order as key for development. The paper says the recent acts of violence in Bawku and the mayhem at Agbogbloshie have painted a rather bad picture of a country touted globally for its democratic credentials and also as an oasis of peace in the midst of political upheavals in the sub-region.
The Daily Graphic calls for bold action to bring lasting peace to all conflict-prone areas such as Bawku, Yendi, Agbogbloshie and Anloga so that the Government's interventions can yield the desired results.
The paper also calls on people entrusted with political power to be up and doing in dealing with miscreants in order to restore the country's status as an oasis of peace in a troubled sub-region.
