A group of Civil Society Organizations Voice and Vision on Climate Change has called on government to make a strong case for Ghana, during the upcoming climate change negotiations in Copenhagen using evidence from vulnerable communities which have already been affected.
The Voice and Vision on Climate Change also wants government to play an influential role in forging a strong and consolidated African position at the talks in December.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, a member of the group and country Director of SEND-Ghana, Samuel Zan Akologo said officials who will attend the negotiation must follow the processes since Ghana is experiencing the effects of climate change.
