
The Deputy Head of the Public Expenditure Monitoring Unit at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Seth Botwe says one of the biggest challenges facing the nation's economy is the high number of ghost names on government's pay roll.
He said the percentage of wages that goes into the accounts of non existent workers annually can play a major role in the development of the country.
Mr. Botwe was speaking at a Public Financial Management workshop at Wa in the Upper West Region.
