Striker Mark Adu Amofa is confident his move to Israeli side Beitar Jerusalem FC will be successful after a agreeing a nine–month deal.

The 21-year-old spent the second half of the season with local side Kessben FC.

Amofa is not new abroad after stints with South African side Bloemfontein Celtic and SonderjyskE of Denmark.

He is expected to spearhead the attack for the Tel Aviv side in the opening match of the Israeli league on Saturday.

"This is not my first time of playing in Europe but am hoping to stake huge claim and remain here and not come back home now," Amofa told Ghanasoccernet.

"I will be here for nine months but will work hard to possible earn a long term deal. This place is good and the people have been good to me so far and hopefully, it can continue like that for me to show them what I can do and my abilities.

"This is one of the good clubs in Israel and am really looking forward to the season which begins with a big game on Saturday."
