Private Schools asked to employ qualified teachers

The Akyeamehene of the Apinto stool at Awudua, Nana Kobina Toku has called on owners of Private Schools to employ qualified teachers to enhance effective teaching and learning in the schools.

Nana Toku was speaking at the graduation ceremony of Bright Benick Academy at Tarkwa in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality of the Western Region.

He however commended Private Schools for the role they are playing in enhancing the quality of education in the country.

The Headmaster of the school, Samuel Arthur urged parents to provide their wards with learning materials to enhance teaching and learning. He urged them to stop spending heavily on unwarranted activities and invest properly in their wards education.

A retired educationist, Naomi Yankson Maison who chaired the function, commended the staff for a good job done in bringing the school to its present level.

She however advised them not to relent on their oars, but work hard to help bring progress, glory and development to the school.
