Former minister wins case against BNI

Former Foreign Minister Akwasi Osei-Adjei

Former Foreign Minister in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration Akwasi Osei-Adjei has won his case against the BNI.

Lawyers of Mr Osei-Adjei sought a declaration that the seizure of the passport by the BNI was not constitutional and against his right ot movement.

The court upheld their arguments and ordered the BNI to with immediate effect release Mr Osei-Adjei's passport to him.
