Winneba (C/R) July 29 GNA — Fredrick Agbo, the driver of the Golf Salon vehicle that had a head-on collision with another private car at Adawukwa, near Gomoa Okyereko, on Sunday, is reported dead at the Winneba Government Hospital.
The driver of the other car, who is in critical condition, has been transferred to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
A Police spokesman for the Winneba Municipal Police Command told the Ghana News Agency at Winneba.
According to the spokesman, seven people received various degrees of injuries when the vehicles on which they were travelling got involved in the accident.
The Golf car was heading towards Cape Coast while the other car was coming from the opposite side of the road.
The Police spokesman said the five people who are still on admission at the Winneba Government Hospital were responding to treatment.
He, however, refused to reveal their identities.
