
The Northern Rural Growth Programme is developing agricultural commodity value chains that will increase production and farmers income in the three regions of the North and parts of Brong Ahafo.
As part of the programme, linkages between industries and agriculture will be strengthened to ensure ready market for all farm produce.
The National Programme Coordinator, Roy Ayariga who spoke to Radio Ghana said in view of the rising global food prices, there is the need to tackle agriculture holistically and not on a piecemeal basis.
