Winneba, July 24, GNA — A 65-year-old woman from Takoradi and her four-year-old grand daughter were killed on the spot when their private car on which they and two other family members were travelling was involved in an accident near Gomoa Okyereko on Thursday.

Their names were given as Madam Agnes Anan and Charity Otu, the grand daughter.

The driver of the private car, Alfred Amissah, and his mother Jennifer Amissah who were injured are on admission at the Winneba Government Hospital.

A police source told the GNA that the private car heading towards Accra collided with a KIA truck loaded with goods that was entering the main Winneba/Accra road.

He said the driver of the KIA truck is helping the police in their investigations.
