THE COUNCIL of Spiritual Churches in Kumasi, has donated an amount of GH¢1,000 in support of the Otumfuo Education Fund.
The council has additionally presented a cross of Jesus Christ, Holy Bible, candle, holy water and incense for the guidance of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, in his spiritual life, in recognition as a God-sent King of the Ashantis.
Prophet Nakoa Nazareth Ansah Jameson, leader of the prophets of the council, during a courtesy call on the Asantehene at the Manhyia palace last week Wednesday, said the gesture was to show their concern and loyalty to the Golden Stool.
The visit to the Manhyia Palace coincided with the launching of a constitution for the council.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II thanked the council for the kind gesture, and asked them not only to come to his aid when the need arises, but also to show their concern to the needy, as they were the ambassadors of Christ on earth.
