Bolgatanga, June 29, GNA - The Very Rev Dr Jacob Ayeebo, a Member of the Council of State, has said reconstituted members of the Regional Coordinating Councils should not allow their political affiliations to affect deliberations concerning the development of their regions.
He said this when he inaugurated the reconstituted Board of the Upper East RCC in Bolgatanga.
The Very Rev Ayeebo said members should bear in mind that the interest of the Regions and the country as a whole superseded that of political parties.
The Regional Minister, Mr. Mark Woyongo, appealed to members of the reconstituted board to take their job serious especially District Chief Executives and said as the Head of the RCC, he would not countenance any attitude that would undermine productivity.
