Offinso (Ash), June 22, GNA – The Golden Jubilee anniversary of the Offinso Presbyterian Church of Ghana has been launched at Offinso with a call on Ghanaians to eschew ethnocentric sentiments and unite to develop the nation.
Reverend Otuo Acheampong, the Asante Presbytery Chairperson of the church, said the peaceful post-election era prevailing in the country is good for nation building and socio-economic development.
He said the theme for the year-long celebration “Let us Arise and Build to Praise and Glorify the Risen Lord”, is a ccall to all and sundry especially the universal church to partner the government to help push its development agenda forward.
Highlights of the programme include symposia, open forum, fun games with sister churches and a home-coming durbar.
