
The Executive Director at the Ghana Stock Exchange Depository Company Limited, Melvina Amoafo says the decision of GSE to automate its systems is to prevent bottlenecks surrounding trading activities. She said shareholders will also be spared the trouble of losing their paper certificates as the new automated system records and keep transactions.
Speaking to Radio Ghana Business News, Mrs. Melvina Amoafo said the automated system will also enhance liquidity on the stock market.
