Cedi Depreciates Against Internationally Traded Currencies For the week under review, the cedi depreciated against the major trading currencies. It depreciated against the US Dollar, the British Pound, the Euro, the South African Rand and the Japanese Yen by 0.71%, 5.01%, 2.21%, 3.05% and 1.72% respectively.

The table below summarizes the interbank rates for the week under review.

Yield
The yields on the 91 and 182-day Treasury bills continued to inch up for the week under review. The 91-day Treasury bill went up by 0.04% to close the week at 25.82% whilst the 182-day Treasury bill went up by 0.05% to close the week at 28.55%. The 1-Year Note and the 2-Year Fixed Note continued to transact at 21.00% and the 3-Year Fixed Note remained inactive for the week.
