Masri show Pimpong exit door
Egyptian Premier League side Al Masri have released thirteen players including Ghanaian striker Razak Pimpong who joined them in January.
The 25-year-old moved in a US$ 200,000 deal from Norwegian side Viking FK for 18-months.
But Pimpong failed to make the grades with the Port Said-based side in five-months of his stay at the club.
Pimpong's club future has taken a nose-dive after playing at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
He struggled to get regular playing time at Viking which resulted in his decision to leave the Norwegian club.
He was loaned out to rival club Alesund but he only played a bit-part role.
Masri ended the Egyptian Premier League in eighth spot and their technical staff headed by Hungarian coach Bertalan Bicskei have targeted a massive reshuffle in the summer.
