Fiapre, May 15, GNA - A circuit court at Fiapre near Sunyani has sentenced a 21-year-old kente weaver, Kwaku Boateng, to five years imprisonment in hard labour for biting the lower lip of his brother-in-law in a fight over a woman at Atronie in Sunyani Municipality.

Boateng pleaded guilty to a charge of causing harm. A second accused person Kofi Amoako, a 20-year-old electrician who pleaded not guilty to the charge of abetment of crime, was remanded in prison custody.
