When will Kumawuman Have A New Paramount Chief? A Concerned Citizen Wants to Know.
Many a Kumawuman citizen is very jittery about the long silence over the Kumawu chieftaincy affairs. It must be noted that, "Justice delayed is justice denied". The stakeholders had better get their acts right before the "Ananse's" whipping cane is set in motion to bruise not only their backs and buttocks but also, to tarnish their reputation by sending them scuttling down the path of disgrace. Corruption, the bane of prosperity of Ghana, is the sole reason f or the dithering as observed in the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute.
What is CORRUPTION, one may ask? Corruption is the fraudulent use of one's position to benefit him or herself or anyone of their chosen. Note: "Corruption, when applied to officers, trustees, etc., signifies the inducing a violation of duty by means of pecuniary considerations". --Abbott.
Much as my conscience tells me, those empanelled to investigate the various concerns, anticipations, and allegations against the feuding parties have a selfish secret agenda of their own. It could be nothing short of an inhered tendency of corruption of all sorts as just explained above. Their employed delay tactics with selfish intent is at the expense of the people of Kumawuman. The people are lethally succumbing to what could be avoidable illnesses on daily basis owing to lack of ingenious direction by a competent and dynamic chief, queen, or traditional administration. Until when will those entrusted with ensuring justice prevail in Kumawuman bury their hatchet of selfish "all-for-me" greediness to give the pending case not only a hearing but a ruling? Kumawuman deserves much better than the current level of dismal attitude of nonchalance on display by those nominated by the Asantehene to sit on the case of deciding which royal family ascends to the Kumawu paramount throne.
One wonders how credible are Kumawuman citizens. Beauty and neatness are not all about being well dressed, an attractive physical features, and ones outward appearance in public. There is more to it. It is more about how one sanitarily maintains his or her home and environment. It is a pity that for lack of public toilets in Kumawu especially, some people do the unexpected. They allow their children whom they cannot pay the current toilet toll as collected by the one or two public toilets in town to defecate in their backyards. This bad attitude has the faeces washed into the water bodies which then get contaminated. Could this not be the cause for the rampant typhoid fever and cholera epidemics suffered by many resulting in their untimely deaths? Could those sitting on the panel be a bit sympathetic towards the aspirations of Kumawuman seeking to extricate themselves from the unnecessary predicament in which they are currently embedded in? Are they not to quicken up without any further feet dragging on the case? Please panellists do put yourselves in their stead to feel how inconvenient the "scorching heat" of total neglect they are wallowing in is. Why can't the Kumawuman citizens resident abroad identify with the suffering of their people in this trying moment of theirs but choose to remain unfeelingly silent? Your financial, physical and spiritual supports to redress through the reversal of the situation are needed. Or else, where lays your beauty, neatness, or pride of calling yourself a Kumawuman citizen at all? It shouldn't be all talk, but action.
Where are the so-called Kumawuman men and women of substance? Where now is the acclaimed audacity of Kumawuman citizens? Did it die with Barima Tweneboa Kodua I, many years ago? A few known selfish royals have caused the downfall of Kumawuman to the shame of all. Kumawuman is clothed in tatters until such time that the God's own chosen chief will ascend to the paramount throne.
Many are those of us that are going through tribulations because of our honest concern about the suffering of the Kumawuman masses resulting from the ongoing visionless traditional administration steered by some extremely selfish and incompetent people. Spiritual attempts of extermination have been made on the lives of many of us fighting to rectify the ongoing seemingly perpetual usurpation of the paramount throne from the other genuine royal famil ies. All such attempts have so far been in vain and will continue to be as long as the Almighty God lives. As long as one is fair in their ways when dealing with situations, God will always protect them against all the powerful weapons of the evil ones. However, my innermost wish and prayer to see the reversal of the malevolence upon the evil authors' own head cannot be underestimated. Should they fail to refrain from their malevolent ways, then the powerful curse as enshrined in Psalms 35 & 109 is their best portion unto perpetuity. I appeal for prayers and supplications to God from God-fearing people directed at protecting the families and those fighting to ensure Kumawuman get a better paramount chief sooner. It is my prayer to see our genuine concerns and earnest supplications to Almighty God answered in due course. Amen.
