Kumasi, April 30, GNA - Mr. Kwame Anyimadu-Antwi, the Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North, has appealed his constituents to shun lukewarm attitude as the nation strives to overcome its economic challenges.
He said a critical look at the manifestoes of the National Democratic Congress, People's National Convention and New Patriotic Party showed that these parties had a common approach to issues relating to the economy, health, education and trade
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi, Mr Anyimadu-Antwi appealed to the citizenry not to hesitate to support government policies meant to improve the well being of the people.
“We should not sit on the fence and leave government alone to carry the nation's socio-economic endeavours to a different level but do all that we can by committing resources to complement development projects to reduce hunger, filth related diseases and frustrations among the youth due to the high rate of unemployment,” he said.
Mr Anyimadu-Antwi appealed to his constituents to be tolerant of him to enable him to realise his objectives of promoting education among the brilliant but needy, improved sanitation and equip school drop-outs with vocational skills.
