Keta, April 29, GNA – Members of Keta Municipal Assembly
on Wednesday confirmed Mr Sylvester Edah Tornyeava 45, a Tutor
at Atiave Secondary Technical School as Keta Municipal Chief
Executive.
Fifty-five out of the 68-member assembly voted for him
representing 81 per cent while 13 voted against him.
Mr Tornyeava, expressed gratitude to President John Evans Atta
Mills for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to endeavour
to develop the municipal area.
The members also elected Mr Prosper Kwawoo, assembly
member for Kedzi Electoral Area as Presiding Member when 66
members voted for him with two against and a rejected ballot
representing 97 per cent.
