Mass registration in Volta Region to begin on May 15

The National Identification Authority (NIA) announced on Tuesday that the mass registration exercise in the Volta Region would now begin on May 15.

This is because a majority of the temporary Registration Officers/Assistants in the Volta Region have indicated that they would be participating in sandwich courses at various tertiary institutions during the period earlier announced for the exercise.

A statement signed by Ms Bertha Dzeble, Head of Public Affairs of NIA, stressed that the role of these officers was very crucial to the successful conduct of the exercise.
