Christian youth told to lead upright lives

Christian youth have been urged to
be more disciplined and avoid acts likely to bring dishonour not only to themselves and families but the Church.

Youth Chaplain, said they should carry themselves in a way that would endear them to society and “win souls for Christ.”

He was addressing the Archdiocesan youth at this year's World Youth Day Celebration held at Nyinahin in the Atwima Mponua District.

It was held under the theme: "We have set our hope unto the Lord."

The Rev. Father Appiah encouraged them to stay away from drugs, alcoholism, indecent dressing and pre-marital sex and social other bad habits.

He advised them not to allow these to distract them from building solid academic foundations that would enable them to become a blessing to the society.

Rev. Father Joseph Agyemang Biney, the Catholic Priest in-charge of Nyinahin Circuit, told them to manifest Christ-like traits of humility, sincerity, submissiveness and honesty.
