Addressing a Parent Teacher Association meeting of the school in Nkoranza, Mr. Adusei said since the youth were the nation's hope, it was very important that they were brought up well to become disciplined leaders.

Mr. Adusei disclosed that the Institute, which was started last year, was growing steadily and had 142 students, 18 teachers and nine non-teaching staff members.

The five main programmes of the school are Auto Mechanic, Wood Work, Carpentry and Joinery, Block Laying and Concreting, Electrical Installation and Metal Work, he said, adding, the school also offered four core subjects at the Senior High School level, as well as Information and Communication Technology.

Mr. Adusei said major challenges facing the Institution were lack of adequate accommodation and school canteen for boarders, and appealed to parents to assist in addressing the problems.
