Accused remanded into prison custody for allegedly possessing narcotic drug

An Ajumako District Magistrate's court on Thursday remanded Kobina Akenn into prison custody for allegedly possessing some dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.

The plea of Akenn 22, from Ajumako Bisease was not taken.

Police Chief Inspector Emmanuel Maxwell Akorli, prosecuting told the court presided over by Mr Kwesi Boakye Enimil that, Akenn also known as Razak was arrested in his house at Ajumako Bisease on March 16, this year upon a tip-off.
