The Nsawam Motor Transport and Traffic Unit, of the Ghana Police Service, on Friday identified a victim of a fatal motor accident in the town as 33 year-old Lance Corporal Fuseini Baba, of the Nsawam Maximum Security Prisons.
Briefing the Ghana News Agency at Nsawam on Friday, Police Chief Inspector Patrick Boasiako, who is in charge of the Unit, said a haulage truck travelling from Accra, ran into a taxi cab, which was being driven by the deceased.
He said the body of Baba had been sent to the Police Hospital mortuary in Accra for autopsy, while Bismarck Ofosu the driver of the truck is responding to treatment at Nsawam Government Hospital with multiple injuries.
Chief Inspector Boasiako appealed to drivers plying the Accra- Kumasi road to refrain from over speeding.
