Hennie Boshoff returned a net score of 71 to beat Paul Owusu-Baah on count-back to win the March Medal Open Golf Championship of the Tema Country Golf Club played at Tema on Saturday.
The third position went to Joshua Preprah with 72 net with Francis Torgah taking the fourth position with 73 net.
Adelaide Owusu-Adjapong won the Ladies category with 68 net, Pavelyn Musaka followed at second position with 69 net, while Esther Antwi took the third position with 70 net.
The one-day 18-Hole Medal Play competition which was opened to amateur golfers in the Greater Accra Region attracted about 100 participants.
Mr Leonard Kwaku Okyere, Captain of the Tema Country Golf Club who presented prizes to the winners asked the members to take active interest in the activities of the Club for the total development of the sport.
Monthly Medal competitions are played to enable members sharpen their strokes for major competitions.
The first major competition of the year is the Bok Nam Kim Memorial Open which comes off in April, this year.
