NDC, NPP Contingents March At Kade Indece Parade

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were represented by large contingents and were repeatedly applauded, as they performed their respective “change” and “moving forward” dances at the  52nd Independence Anniversary parade at Kade in the Eastern Region.

The contingents received rounds of applause as they filed past the saluting dais.

A float of school children and voluntary organizations through the principal streets of Kade also formed part of the celebrations in the Kwaebibirem District.

The float was followed by a parade by children from more than 70 schools and 20 voluntary groups.

Mr Nyagblodzo Delali, District Co-ordinating Director; the Kade District Police Commander, Superintendent Wisdom Akorli and the District Director of Education, Mr Jonathan Akakpo, took the salute.

Present were chiefs and members of the District Assembly.

Mr Delali read the President's address in which he advised Ghanaians to unite for development.
