Donewell Insurance gives to orphans

The Winneba branch of Donewell Insurance Company limited on Sunday presented grocery items worth GH¢500 to the Methodist Rafiki Satellite orphanage Village at Gyahadze, near Winneba.

The items included rice, sugar, milk, fruit juice, soap, water and bread.

Presenting the items, the Winneba branch manager of the Company, Mr Ebenezer Abeku Onumah, said the presentation was part of the 5th Anniversary Celebration of the branch.

Mr Onumah said the company would continue to contribute towards the social well-being of needy children and other institutions in the area.

Receiving the items, the Child Care Director of the Village, Mrs Rejoice Dei Forson, thanked the company and appealed to other benevolent organisations to support the orphans.

The orphanage currently has 13 inmates.
