Students Union thanks President Mills, congratulates Mike Hammah

The Effutu Constituency Students Union has congratulated Mr Mike Allen Hammah, Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency on his appointment as Minister of Transportation.

They also expressed their profound gratitude to President John Evans Atta Mills for appointing their MP to that position.

This was contained in a statement signed by Mr Charles Amissah-Koomson, President of the Union and issued to the Ghana News Agency on Thursday.

The statement said the nomination of the MP and his subsequent impressive performance at the Appointment Committee of Parliament was a result of his immense contribution to the Roads and Transport Ministry when he was a Deputy Minister.

“We hope you will fulfil your promises and policies, especially on youth development in the constituency”.

They promised Mr Hammah of their support and cooperation towards the socio-economic development of the area.
