Citizens of Ntiribuoho in the Afigya-Kwabre District of Ashanti, have appealed to government and non-governmental organizations (NGO), to assist them to complete an educational project in the town.

The library with Information Communication Technology (ICT) connectivity project, has come to a standstill due to financial constraints.

Mr. Sampson Adu-Poku, Coordinator of the project, who made the appeal on behalf of the people on Thursday, said the community had spent over 20,000 Ghana Cedis on the project, which was at the lintel level.

He said the people would need about 10,000 Ghana cedis for the purchase of cement, iron rods, chippings, roofing sheets and nails for the completion of the project.

Mr. Adu-Poku said the project, initiated by a former assembly member of the area about five years ago, was being funded through special levies and contributions from citizens and support from financial institutions.

The Coordinator of the project praised Ghacem Foundation for donating 160 bags of cement towards the project.
