Government Appointees urged to declare assests

The President, John Evans Atta Mills has directed that all government appointees should immediately declare their assets in accordance with the assets declaration regime. In this vain all government appointees will henceforth declare their assets within seven days of their appointment, and a receipt issued by the Auditor-General to them should be presented personally to the Secretary to the President for confirmation.

The directive is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the President J.K. Berbaako Mensah.
