The Hohoe Municipal Assembly has elected Mr Bismarck Addae, Assembly member for Leklebi, and Mr Obed Aboagye, a government appointee, to the Volta Regional Electoral College for the election of a representative to the Council of State.
Some 21 government appointees were also sworn into the Assembly by Mr. Edward Apenkwa, Hohoe Circuit Court Judge.
The Assembly, however, deferred the election of its Presiding Member.
In brief remarks, Mr. William Meledi, Municipal Coordinating Director, asked for co-operation from members towards the implementation of the Assembly's projects.
