US-based hospital donates to Bibiani Government Hospital

The Norvant Hospital based in Charlotte in the United States has donated 25 electronic beds worth about 75, 000 dollars to the Bibiani Government Hospital.

Making the donation on behalf of Mr. Carl Amatoe, the President of Norvant Hospital, Monsignor Simon Asamoah, Vicar-General of the Sefwi Wiawso Catholic Diocese, said the donation was in fulfilment of the promise made by the US-based hospital when he visited the US last year.

He said the donation was the second time the Bibiani Government Hospital had received such equipment since last year.

Dr. Kennedy Azantillow, Medical Superintendent in charge of the hospital who received the beds, thanked the donor.

Nana Yaw Gyebi Ogyeahohuo, Omanhene of the Sefwi-Ahwiaso Traditional Area, appealed to chiefs, churches, individuals and well-wishers to contribute to the development of the hospital.
