GCB Improves Operations
17.02.2009 LISTEN

Lawrence Mante - GCB Boss AS PART of efforts to improve upon its operations throughout the country, the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) is to repair all its broken-down ATM machines by March.

This would help reduce some of the distress that customers go through during transactions with the bank.

The Cape Coast Area Branch Manager, Michael Dannis who made this known at the GCB's end-of-year get-together at Cape Coast said all is set for the maintenance exercise.

Mr Dannis said although the bank was able to exceed its target in 2008, there was the need for the staff to work hard to boost the activities of the bank.

The Acting Retail Manager of Cape Coast, Maxwell Koranteng stated that the bank has a lot of products that would benefit every segment of the Ghanaian society.

He mentioned the GCB Xpress, 'Kudi Nkusuo', Standard Savings and International Money Transfer among others as some of the packages instituted to help their customers.

He announced that GCB which has over 149 branches is going through transformation and expansion with refurbishment of old branches, hence the need for customers to cooperate with the bank.
