Ahafo-Ano Rural Bank embarks on sensitization programme

Mr David Nee Kwatei Nunoofio,

Manager of the Ahafo-Ano Premier Rural Bank, has urged cocoa

farmers in the area to cash their Akuafo Cheques at the bank to enable

them to benefit from loans from the bank.
Mr Nunoofio said the bank had started a “Susu Programme” to

support the activities of traders, farmers and others to expand their

businesses, and also help them to improve upon their livelihoods.

He was addressing a sensitization programme to educate workers,

including teachers, farmers and others, at Wioso, on Monday, on the

need for them to save with the bank.
He said if the people patronized the services of the bank, it would

raise their financial position as well as that of the bank.
