Eximguaranty Company Ghana
Limited, has presented
a Class facilitation projector and its accessories valued at 3000 Ghana
Cedis
to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)
School of Medical Sciences in Kumasi.
The Projector is meant to facilitate illustrative teaching and
learning
by the Medical Students.
Mr. George Agyemang Duah, Head of Administration of the
Company, presenting the equipment on behalf of the Company, noted
that the donation
was made following an appeal for assistance from the medical class of
2013,
to help alleviate undue constraints on both lectures and students in
their
quest for academic excellence.
The presentation, he said was as part of the company's social
responsibility and acknowledged the enterprise of the students in
proactively striving to improve their challenging conditions.
“Having young students working together to change their
situation rather than to blame the authorities is an attitude to give way
for the future of our country and must be encouraged”, he stressed.
Mr. Duah said the company is Guarantee Company that
facilitates access
to credit to promote private and small business growth.
Prof. Yaw Adu-Sarkodie, Vice-Dean of the School of Medical
Sciences, receiving the projector on behalf of the students, expressed
gratitude to the Company for its assistance to help promote education in
the country.
He noted that education is the bedrock of every country and
called on individuals, Churches and organizations to come to the aid of
the medical school towards the provision of facilities to enhance
teaching and learning.
