The management of Real Tamale United is backing head coach Abdul Razak to succeed after recent run-ins with the club's supporters and says he has a future at the club.

Razak was confronted by two supporters on Monday after training and asked him to tender in his resignation.

Real Tamale United have suffered two straight loses in the league and Razak has come under intense pressure.

The management of the club moved quickly to resolve the rift between the supporters of the club and the 1978 African Footballer of the year.

"He has been able to get over it because he was at training and was cheerful. I had a chat with me him before an after training so I think everything is fine," Chairman of the club Joe Kadiri told Ghanasoccernet.com

"We started dialoguing with the supporters to find their grievances and we want to deal with them.

"Sometimes you don't brush these things away either than that Razak will go but any other person that comes will suffer."

RTU are currently eighth on the league table and will host Tema Youth at the Tamale Stadium this Sunday when the league resumes.
