A National Democratic Congress (NDC) activist has given the assurance that the NDC will do everything possible to ensure that it delivers to move the nation forward.

He predicted that if the NDC did so it would stay in power for at least the next two terms.

He said the party had corrected the mistakes it made during its tenure in office and would do everything possible to satisfy the Ghanaian electorate.

The activist, Mr Samuel Kofi Boateng, in a chat with the Daily Graphic in Kumasi, said the party, when it was in opposition, identified a lot of anomalies in the system during the past government and would definitely rectify them, saying, "The plight of Ghanaians is the party's concern."

Mr Boateng said discipline, which was the hallmark of any good government, had been reduced to its lowest ebb and workers were displaying a lackadaisical attitude towards work because of delays in paying their salaries.

He said the confidence reposed in President Atta Mills by the electorate would not be toyed with and emphasised that the government under Professor Mills would work to improve and enhance the welfare of the people.

He advised the NDC family to exercise restraint and continue to rally behind the President to exercise his constitutional power of selecting people to assist him to administer the country.
