Kotoko and Lions will share the cash Kotoko and Heart of Lions are richer by US$243,750 each, being their respective shares of the US $650,000 acquired from the sale of Eric Bekoe to Petrojets of Egypt.

A source who divulged the information noted that the agent who landed the deal took home 15 percent of the total amount.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and GHALCA also took five percent each of the said transfer fee, which landed from Egypt on Friday.

Kotoko, the source noted, used about GH¢100,000 of the amount to settle the outstanding bills of their players.

Kotoko Management, he said, would use the remaining amount to construct two ultra modern training fields on their land at Adakwa Jaachie.

Bekoe, it would be recalled, emerged the best player and also won the goal-king title after just a season of joining Kotoko from Heart of Lions.
