Dunkwa-on-Offin Police are searching for seven suspected armed robbers who allegedly robbed a filling station at Dunkwa-on-Offin.
Police Superintendent Samuel Anderson Buabeng, Dunkwa-on-Offin Municipal Police Commander told GNA that the police was investigating the incident appealed to the public for assistance.
He said a Mercedes Benz bus arrived at the Sky filling station at about 1900 last Saturday under the pretext of buying fuel at Atekyem, a suburb of Dunkwa, immediately, seven masked men jumped down and started fired warning shots to scare away people and ordered the filling station attendants to surrender all their sales to them after which they drove away.
Supt. Buabeng said a taxi driver who was buying fuel had his sales for the day also collected by the robbers.
