The Ghanaian-German Economic Association has sent
a message of congratulations to Ms. Hannah Tetteh, who has been nominated as

a Minister of Trade and Industry by President John Atta Mills.

In a statement signed by its President Mr Stephen Antwi, the GGEA said Ms Tetteh who represented GAFCO at GGEA deliberations, had been a member of the GGEA since it was founded 10 years ago and brings to the table a wealth of experience that would impact positively on manufacturing and industrial production.

“Her incisive and working knowledge of the private sector issues as well as perfunctory understanding of the workings of the international trade environment makes her the obvious choice for this very important ministry at this time,” the statement said.

The GGEA urged private sector organizations to support the nomination of Ms Tetteh for the Trade and Industry ministry knowing full well that she had the capacity to deliver.
