Nana Ben Baffour Kodua, Chairman of Beposo Local Pensioners Association has urged members to plan adequately towards their retirement.
He said no one could escape the consequences of ageing and there was the need to adequately plan towards it.
Nana Kodua gave the advice during an end-of-year get-together organised by the Association at Beposo in the Sekyere Central District at the weekend.
He advised members to consult legal practitioners for their wills adding that they should engage in periodic physical exercises, have good diet and to be righteous.
He appealed to the Accountant General's Department to investigate why arrears of some pensioners had not been paid since 2006 and to take the necessary steps to ensure that they were paid adequately.
