Ekua Kwansema Is Simply The Best

Ghanaians who monitored the just-ended Presidential and Parliamentary elections would recall that out of nowhere a certain lady who goes by the name Ekua Kwansema suddenly burst into the scene with nail biting articles that presented the best case not only for President-Elect Professor John Evans Atta Mills but the NDC party. In fact Ekua Kwansema became the one “Woman Thousand” who took the whole Kufour's government, Akufo-Addo's campaign and the whole NPP to task.

Ms. Kwansema's articles are littered all over multiple websites. If you happen to Google her name you will see her biting articles everywhere; Professor Mills website, NDC website, EU News, Google News, all the Ghanaian leading websites like Joy online, Ghanaweb, Modern Ghana, Ghanaian Journal, http://www.congoo.com/World/Falkland-Islandsrnal, Talk Ghana, Drug Policy Central, Metro News and even some Nigerian websites. There were a couple of Ghanaian newspapers that also used her articles. I wonder whether she got paid for her articles.

Ekua became the daily voice for Professor Mills and his cause; her articles sent tons of people including me to the internet cafes everyday. This is the lady who methodically dissected the NPP and exposed some of the things that they were doing behind the backs of Ghanaians. She was very sarcastic at times, humorous and called a spade a spade. Her article titled “Closing Argument For Professor Mills” published some few days before the December 28 presidential run-off was a kicker. I wish Ghanaians would go back and read that article. I have read it over 10 times. It is like the final appeal from Professor Mills himself to voters.

This lady acted like the critical eye that watched all the actions of the NPP and descended heavily on them by exposing their hypocrisy. I have never seen any NDC writer who defended Professor Mills or the NDC better than this lady. If you start reading her article you cannot stop because you find “Good Meat” at the end. Truly this lady deserves high marks not from the NDC party but the President-Elect Professor Atta Mills himself.

Mr. Kennedy Agyepong has been running loose in Ghana and the NDC people seemed to be afraid of this guy. It was Ekua who dissected this buffoonery by even naming him the new “Adumadze”. This woman single handedly torn the NPP apart. Don't be fooled, her articles changed a lot of minds. At the popular café that I go to I always heard regular patrons talking about her articles. Comments like “Auntie Ekua de fofor aba bio” were very common.

Ekua was the one who drew the attention of the begging spree by the NPP. She was the one who also drew attention to the petrol politics, the goof by the Chief Justice on the jailing of drivers with outdated traffic laws. When the NPP continued to accuse Professor Mills of being the poof of Rawlings, she defended Professor Mills of being his own man and even went on to prove that Akufo-Addo was not a man of his own since his running mate was imposed on him. I do not know what this lady did not do for Professor Mills.

I do not know this lady from anywhere, have never spoken to her, but I feel she deserves high commendation which is why I woke up very early to write this article to praise her. If the NDC had not done that already, I urge the party hierarchy to find this lady and invite her to Professor Mills' inauguration. She would be a better asset to the President-Elect. She became the well calculated defended of Professor Mills and trust me her articles changed a lot of minds in favour of the President-Elect Professor Atta Mills.
