Why are Ghanaian Politicians that Corrupt? NPP, NDC, CPP, PNC, DFP all the Same?

When shall we, oh God, as Ghanaians and black Africans have God fearing, decent, dedicated and selfless political leaders to chart a genuine course of action for our socio-politico-economic emancipation? I am personally sick and tired of continually seeing our politicians behaving as though amassing wealth is all that there is to being a successful politician. The inhered hypocrisy of the Ghanaian politician irrespective of their political affiliation, ideological leaning and aspiration is so immense. Their venomous hatred towards their political opponents they often dimwittedly see as their archrival is grotesquely incomprehensible. The Ghanaian politician is a disgrace and a shame unto themselves, the country, their compatriots and the continental mother Africa. The propensity to always err on the wrong side is magnetically non-repellent to the African politician in general and the Ghanaian politician in particular.

Before power is bequeathed to the NDC, most are their leading activists that have decided on dubious plans of how best to acquire wealth as soon as a position of trust is conferred on them. I am moved to bring this to the limelight in case a nincompoop out there is naively preparing to sacrifice their precious life on the altar for any of these selfish politicians. Well in advance of the NDC's Atta Mills being declared the winner of the Presidential runoff election though all pointers confirm to his success, when his advantageous activists are hatching plans to plunder the public treasury. The wife of one of their chief propagandists who was able to rally electorates in the Ashanti region in time for the election campaign for the course of the NDC had this to tell a friend in her phone call to Europe, " (friend's name withheld) We are lucky this year. It is also our turn to enjoy wealth. The NDC bigwigs have contacted my husband asking which position he wants. We are also going to move out to join you in Tema and Accra and will as soon as purchase lands and start putting up houses of our own" This woman and her family are not the only ones doting on such reprehensible nation wrecking ideas. Is it not true in the Ghanaian political parlance that "Daavi ba ne Dede ba won nyinaa maame ye adekor3" literally meaning, "All Ghanaian politicians have the same distinctive evil traits". They are all corrupt and evil. Most of the NDC guys over here in the United Kingdom who think to have played decisive roles in the election success of the NDC have all gone home with the same disgusting notion of acquiring wealth by any resort. The usual stomach politics ruining Ghana and Africa is seen to be at play here. The politicians of the NPP, NDC, CPP, DFP, PNC etc. are almost all the same when incredibility, dishonesty and cruelty to national emancipation become the measuring yardstick in our efforts to move the nation forward.

Ghanaians, be wise as the serpent. Let us all help the NDC and Atta Mills positively.
