Akufo Addo can not unify Ghana

The polarization political landscape of Ghana has been a major set back in Ghana's development over the years. From 1966 when Dr. Nkrumah was overthrown, successive government (both military and democratically elected) have accused each other for misappropriation, malfeasance and corruption.

This polarization has unfortunately led to prosecution of politically opponents and it still continues to happen till date.

In my opinion, it is time our political leaders realise that mistakes of previous leaders should not be a guarantee for revenge. As a poor country with fragile democracy, the last thing we have to do is to demonise opponents and witch hunt previous administration just because you want to be seen as the angel one.

It is time we stop this hypocrisy and give credit where it is due and move on as society with one nation and common destiny.

Akufo Addo on assuming position as Foreign Affairs Minister strip former President Rawlings his diplomatic rights and subjected him to humiliation even when President Kufour has ask him to stop. He went ahead and did it and because Kufour is not bold and confident enough, he couldn't dismiss Akufo Addo from his government.

This arrogant man can never be my President.
God Bless Ghana!
