The Appeals committee of the Ghana Football Association has upheld a move by AshantiGold to stall the registration of Alex Asamoah as a Kotoko player.

The striker joined Kotoko this term but AshantiGold claim the Porcupine Warriors disrespected the terms of the agreement in signing the player.

Both sides agreed a friendly match plus two players in the deal but Kotoko pulled out at the last minute.

Kotoko chairman Sylvester Asare-Owusus siad his outfit were not to be blamed:" The third party's inability to organise the match was not Kotoko."

The committee settled the dispute and clarified the status of the player.

Both parties have agreed to organize the friendly this Sunday at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.

Kotoko host AshantiGold on match day 2 of the Premier League on 3 December.
